Week 7 EOC: The Pitch

After I returned from my grand adventure, I decided to paten most of the mixes of foods I had gathered from my travels. One of my favored foods was the cocoa covered peanuts. I wanted to market it however; I had to come up with a name for it.  Obviously it would have my name in the title I would call it Phileas Fogg Nuts for Cocoa. I will package it in a small box enough for eight ounces of the product. Having the sweetness to was down the liquor and the saltiness to make a patron want to drink some more. The outer cocoa will have some sweetness to it in the mix of the sugar and milk, however the inside peanut will be roasted with salt and sprinkled with more salt after the nut is roasted sufficiently. The product will only have five simple ingredients, long enough so the drunkest of the drunk can read it and know what their consuming. The ingredients will be cocoa, sugar, milk, salt, and peanuts. It will be located on the left panel of the box with the right panel explaining a little on how I acquired the product, with the name “Phileas Fogg Nuts for Cocoa” in the front and back panels. Bellow the name will be a drawing of the product cut in half showing the peanut surrounded by the cocoa shell, with the possibility of the exterior of the product is more malleable. It will have a dark brown coloring to the box, with a white ring around the label and the name will be in red lettering, with the ingredients listed in a white box with black lettering. The explanation on how I acquired the product with a drawing of a paper and written in small yet legible black writing.

Week 8 EOC: The Adventure

It is day 70, and the weather around me was warm I can feel the warmth of the sun as summer approached. As I looked down from my balloon and looked at my map, I saw I was over the land that Columbus had discovered. I believed it was the new world now called Mexico. As I descended, I encountered a tribe of fierce warriors, they lived in a city surrounded by water and buildings made of blinding gold as they reflected the rays of the sun.  They began chanting thinking I was one of their gods returning. They took me to their temple dedicated to their highest god. Their leader and high priest drank a dark liquid with a bitter smell, which they called Cocoa. They handed me some to try and indeed was very bitter, with clear earth tones. A priestess approached and began to speech in Spanish and as luck would have it, I had learned Spanish as I explored Spain. I asked her what this drink was and she told me it was crushed cocoa beans and boiled in water.
That night I took a few of the nuts crushed them until it powdered, added sugar, poured some milk and mixed them together until it became a past. After I roasted some peanuts and sprinkled some salt on them, I acquired the peanuts a few days ago from the natives from the country of Peru. After the peanuts were ready and mixed with salt I dropped them and mixed them with the cocoa past I made and took them out and let them dry upon tasting them they were actually very sweet and once you got to the nut began to get salty and you tasted the peanut and with a mixed after taste. The next morning I entered my balloon, waved goodbye to my new friends, and looked forward to my next place I would visit.

Week 5 EOC:

In the consumer world of both businesses and the average consumer, it is very different the needs of a business to the needs of an individual consumer. A business needs to order merchandise in bulk be it for resale or use to better the business. For instance when I worked for Gap we ordered cleaning supplies in bulk one it was cost efficient for the company and it allowed us to have stock for a three month period. Another way they would save cost was to borrow goods form a sister store this kept store cost down and allowed for better communication between stores. Not only is establishing a good report with outside sourced a good idea so is keeping a good report with the drivers and delivery people. All these factor into the overall profitability of store. This keeps the employees happy by having clean well lite areas, as well as having a clean store for the customers. As for the individual consumer usually only gets single items because they need to one fulfill their immediate want or their overall need. Be it food, cleaning supplies, clothing, or entertainment needs. In many ways, the company and the individual consumer are the same but on the other hand, they are different. They both need cleaning supplies, but they differ on the amount an individual buys and how much a company buys. If an individual would buy at a store for example Cosco, they may end up saving money in the end just as if the big companies buy items in bulk in order to save money in their fiscal year. This gives them a higher budget the next quarter so they may buy items they need that are a little more higher cost than just cleaning supplies. This way they can move money from one area to another for example if cleaning supplies saves one thousand dollars they can spend the thousand dollars in maintenance needs or just save the money and show a higher profitability.

Week 3 EOC: Making Money for Good

Disney being one of the worlds’ largest entertainment industries providing great family time weather it is in the theme parks around the world, watching their many films, playing their family friendly games, or just playing with a Mikey or Mini doll. It has been a truly happiest place to be.  They bring in millions if not billions of dollars just at their parks alone. Now that they acquired both Pixar and Marvel they are making even more money opening the door to an even larger demographic besides just family with kids, they also reach the many of comic book readers out there. However, they also give back to the community with their charities and innovation.
They begin with their parks the trains are run with biodiesel made from cooking oils from the kitchens of the parks and the hotels. The oil is refined and remade into emissions free fuel for the trains to use. Another way in becoming a zero waist parks is by recycling the trash of the parks so they can make into other items needed. The cast members also help by going and donating their time to clean the streets or volunteering in the cruses and cleaning the beaches, they port at or around the ports in America. In California’s Adventures, they were awarded for their water conservation in their world of color attraction.
Since 2009, Disney has given 48 million dollars to the global conservation of the forests and wooded areas of the world. By fining alternative energy uses for the world to use and move away from the fossil fuels. They also employ veterinarians in the Animal Kingdom Park and guests can watch them perform checkups and make sure they are healthy.

Week 3 EOC: My Demographics

After reading the description on Millennials in the book, I do believe this to be accurate in my case anyway. I grew up using computers, had the first generation of cell phones, gaming consuls, television, among different devices, along with using social media for a very long time.

Week 1 EOC: My Voice

I am a graphic artists who specializes in making animations be it for comics, cartoons, or even CGI characters. I can make character designs based on what my client’s specifications. I accommodate my client as much as I am able and offering a few alternatives for when something may not be translated from words to the canvas. I can create human characters, and animals. I am able to create simple backgrounds such as forests and jungles, city skypes, and some underwater sense.  I am well versed in Photoshop from adding colors to drawings made on the program or scanned drawings. I can add shadows to the appropriate areas, from the light sores I place or by following the instructions of my client. I am versed in blending color to add a higher richer dimension to the work of art giving it more life and believability of movement and weight.  I am also able to use both Photoshop and ToonBoom to give movement to a character and be able to move and interact with in its world. I can make movement from a simple walk to interacting with another character complete with a moving background. As well as keeping a clear consistent color palate. I can also manipulate colors to existing images from restoring old photos and damaged images, to changing the stance and look of a person or character. If the model in an image is standing in a strange angle, I am able to warp the image to a more desirable stance with in its limits and not distorting the image.  If you have a photo of your loved one that needs to get fixed up from having a hole or a bend down the middle or taking the wrinkles from being folded for a long time I can take all of these off the image for you.
I can add sound to animated clips with the use of combined or individual use of the Audition and Premier programs. I can recreate or record a large variety of sounds to add to the motion clip to give it a much more immersive experience. I am also able to create a web page in which to publish it from making workable buttons, movement, and additional pages. To making banners for an individual to place in related pages to promote, one’s page.
